The 2024 edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is to be hosted by West Indies and USA. The T20 World Cup will kickstart on June 4 and the Final on June 30.
USA is set to host the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup for the first time
The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will feature a competition among 20 teams.
West Indies will host the matches across 7 venues
Antigua & Barbuda,
Barbados,
Dominica, Guyana,
St Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago, and
St Vincent & The Grenadines as the seven Caribbean venues
USA will have 3 venues
In the T20 World Cup 20, the qualifying teams will be grouped into four sets of five. The top two teams from each group will progress to the Super 8 round in T20 World Cup.
In this stage, the qualifying teams will be divided into two groups of four each. From these groups, the top two teams from each will earn a spot in the knockout stage.
The knockout stage will include two semi-final matches, leading to an ultimate final showdown to determine the champion.
